Ways to Love God
Congratulations! You’re reading our very first devotional of Seeds of Truths.
Praise the LORD for making it happen. Without Him, we wouldn’t be able to share the gospel. We hope to share a weekly devotional in the future. We would also like to say Happy New Year! May God’s blessings be with you in abundance throughout the year ahead.
How do we love God?
S - Deuteronomy 6:5
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
O - Observation
In this verse, Moses told the Israelites the primary command before entering the promised land. Jesus also told this command as the primary command and the second command is to love others (Matthew 22:34-40).
A - Application
How do we love God who created everything in the universe? Are we able to love the One and Only Almighty God? We’re just a sinful human after all. But in the Scripture, we have to love God with all our heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. We love God by obeying His commands. Every person might have a different way of loving God. God created us differently, with various talents and abilities. God knows each one of us. We worship God not only at Sunday church. We worship Him everywhere and whenever we can.
P - Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the endless blessings You give to us every single day. Help us to be the doer of this command every day, letting our love for You be the guiding principle in our lives. Teach us to center our lives around You. Teach us to use the blessings You gave to love and worship You. In the name of Jesus.
