Let God Plan Your Life

If you keep messing up your life with your plan, it’s a sign to let God take control of your life. Our plan will not be as good as God’s, so let Him plan your life.

Scripture - Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Observation

This scripture is God’s promise to the Israelites in Babylon. God reminded them that He didn’t forget them even when they were in a difficult time. Despite what happened to them, God can turn any bad situation into goodness because He is The True God. God’s plan is always good, brings peace, and won’t hurt us.

Application

When life seems difficult, this Scripture reminds us that God has a good plan for you. You may not see it now, but keep having faith in Him. Learn to let God plan your life. Stop relying on your plan. Whatever plan you have now, give it to God. Ask God to take control of your life. Humble yourself before Him. Seek Him daily, and let Him decide what’s best for you—where you’re going, what you’ll do, whom you should meet, etc. Small things matter to God.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for your good plan for me. Forgive me for thinking my plan is better than yours and relying on our plan. Help me to learn how to count on You every day. Your plan for me is always good. Help me to see what Your will is.

In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
