Apps That Help My Bible Study Better
I didn’t find studying the Bible to be a fun or interesting activity. I saw that bible study is what old people do. But look at me now, I find so much joy when I open the Bible. Bible study is so much fun with these apps.
Bible App Youversion
Website: bible.com
Available for: App Store, Google Play
I think this app is everyone’s favorite. This app is the first Bible app on my phone since I got saved by Jesus. I use it daily to read the devotional. It has many versions of Bible translations and bible study plans.
Bible Project
Website: bibleproject.com
Available for: App Store, Google Play
Bible Project makes reading the bible a cool thing to do. They successfully made me interested in reading the bible. They create beautiful graphics and storytelling. They made the Bible easier to understand even for someone who started reading the Bible in their 30s.
Logos
Website: logos.com
Available for: Mobile App, Web App, Desktop
If you want to take your bible study to the next level, then Logos is for you. It’s made for bible study nerds like me. Since installing Logos could take up some of your storage, it’s better to use it on a compatible device such as a laptop/macbook. You can also open it on web app.
BibleGateway
Website: biblegateway.com
Available for: Google Play, App Store
It’s easy to use for anybody, and you can access it from any device without installing it. It’s not a big app that takes up your storage.
Notion
Website: notion.com
Available for: Google Play, App Store, Desktop
I store all of my bible study notes on Notion simply because Notion is not complicated to use (for me!). I found most people don’t use Notion optimally. Notion is excellent for Bible Study because it has a database feature, and you can cross-reference it easily.
GoodNotes
Website: goodnotes.com
Available for: Google Play, App Store, Windows
Sometimes I just love to use a pencil when taking notes on the Bible, and GoodNotes is my favorite app for that. Features are complete and easy to use. I also use my Bible Study Journal on GoodNotes. (You can download Bible Study Journal here.)
What apps do you use for Bible Study? Let me know in the comments. God bless you.
